The Bracebridge Agricultural Society (BAS) was established in 1867 as a non-profit, charitable organization with the aim of encouraging an awareness of agriculture and promoting improvements in the quality of life of persons living in an agricultural community.
Each year, the Bracebridge Fall Fair and Horse Show draws people of all ages from both within and from outside the community to partake in the many activities, …exhibitions, and competitions . The fair takes place at the J.D. Lang Activity Park, 331 Fraserburg Rd., Bracebridge, on the middle weekend of September. Next year’s fair will be held on September 12th – 14th, 2014. The Annual General Meeting will held on Thursday, January 9th, 2014 at 7:00pm at the Presbyterian Church on Taylor Road, Bracebridge.
